Crazy Sale Loot Bag

Yay!!! It's mega sale again at SM.

I'm not sure if all SM Malls participated this crazy crazy sale.

Well, my office is just 5 minutes walk away from SM Bacoor. I can't help not to ignore this mega sale. My favorite part of the mall are kitchen, bath, bedroom and kids section.

Day before the official mall-wide sale, they have already placed sale items and selling it now. Yay!   Hahaha!

During my lunch break I had the oppotunity to window shop. Too bad! I brought my wallet and caused me to bring home 2 loot bags (out of budget expenses. Lols!).

In my loot:

What did you have from SALE items lately?

Oh! SM Sale started May 3 ends on May 5. Don't forget to shop early because they will add another 10% off on your items during the first 2 hours, exclusive for SM advantage card holders.

XOXO

TRAVEL: Quick Summer Lovin' Fix at Tanza's Oasis Hotel and Resort (Review)

Making my way back 25 years ago I remember my paternal side family frequently organize getaways every summer vacation, and my parents used to bring us at the beach every morning for some physical activities like jogging, swimming and sand playing.

I so missed everything about it. Ugh! Part of me wants to bring out the old times and this time I'm going... with my own family. I promise myself that I would not make my kid's summer vacation boring because I had so much fun during my salad days.

Because the place is 5 to 10 minutes away from our house, hubby and I decided to have a quick day tour summer get away with our kids at Tanza's Oasis Hotel and Resort.

Tanza's Oasis Hotel and Resort inside.

Upon arriving at the resort we were asked to pay our fees (such as entrance for beach and pool Php200 - adults, Php150 - kids; Mini cottage - Php 750 and a Php 100 for deposit which will be refunded when you check out) in a corner they called as the beach entrance. To keep our bellies calm and happy, we brought enough foodies and drinks. Yes! Bringing of foods is allowed.

We had our mini cottage located at the beach front and that made our kids a little crazy excited as soon as they saw the huge black-blue sea. Their excitement can't be tamed. The cottage is made of bamboo and good for 8 up to 10 persons, it has electric sockets where you can bring radio and listen to your summer playlist or recharge your mobile phones.

Behind that cute baby are cottages located at the black-blue beach front.

Maybe some guests would find the beach weird because of its black-blue color and it is quite near Manila Bay - for some are afraid said that it's not safe to swim. But not US! haha! We don't feel afraid at all. Ano ba! Ganyan na talaga ang kulay nyan batang musmos pa kami. So, I allowed my kids to play with sands and waves for a moment...

At the pool area.

The resort has 3 swimming pools, two 2.5 feet and 1 huge swimming pool - like 5 swimming pools combined, that offers 2.5 feet (with a kiddie slide and mushroom shower/shade) up to 5 feet - the deepest with 3 slides.

2.5 ft spot of the huge pool.

Kuya Ton-Ton, having fun at the kiddie slide.
Spot the 3 slides!
Huge swimming pool.

Ha! I'm super happy, I was able to do almost everything I want just for a day. Swum, walked on the sand, listened to the sea waves, played with my kids, took the slides over and over with hubby loves, laughed with my siblings and acted like a pro-photographer.

Hubby took this picture. I so miss Mr. SUN.
A selfie photo isn't bad at all. Hihi! I'm with the sands...
My son JD loves a little adventure. I never thought,
that he'd like it bubbling under the sea.
With the hubby!
Say "Wednesday!!!!" at the count of 3!
Ok! Ok! Let me take you around the resort. It isn't just about the beach you know, Tanza's Oasis have a  nice and friendly sorroundings. Lifeguard almost everywhere!!!

Life guards almost every corner of this huge pool.

Here are some of  the things you may expect if you have any plan to visit.

Bar beside the swimming pool area.
Live band from morning 'til night on weekends.
You may either request or sing your favorite song with the band!!!
Coffee table around the vicinity.
Volleyball court.
Huge animal replicas surrounded the swimming pool area.
Zorbs' available too.
Definitely we enjoyed our day tour at the resort. We will definitely come back whenever we feel like we need a quick summer lovin' fix.

Check out their website for more information.

That's all folks! XOXO

Beauty: How Maybelline Clear Smooth BB Silk Poreless White Saved Me!? (Review)

Summer season is love especially when you get to enjoy playing under the sun, walking your feet on the sand and when you travel a lot.

But in my case, I haven't enjoy this season even until now.

Why?

During summer season hives are my best friends.  I have super sensitive skin and they appear immediately after I sweat a lot plus the scorching hot weather.

Too bad! These hives would love to stay on face and it can make  my face appear perfectly distorted.

Look!!!!

Gosh!!! That was few weeks ago. And that day I had to pick up my son at his granny's crib. So I had no choice but to go out and travel, unfortunately with my hives.

To tame my summer allergies I had to cool down and had our A/C on in a while then prepare.

After few minutes of preparing here's how my face look like.

Tadddddaaaaa!

As if hives almost gone. What I had on my face?

It is Maybelline's Clear Smooth BB Silk Poreless White Foundation +SPF21 . I

Travel: YEXEL TOYS MUSEUM

IT'S MORE FUN IN THE PHILIPPINES!

Our country is known for having beautiful places from north down to south. From white sand beaches, historic places, foods and even water sports like wake boarding, parasailing we all have it! I am sure most of you are "yeah... Been there, done that and repeat".

BUT have you ever been to a place loaded with heaping numbers of toys??? Tiny to super huge and classic to modern... name it! Superman, Mario Bros., Looney Toons, Dragon Ball Z, Marvel heroes The Avengers,   Justice League up to Lightning Mcqueen. If you haven't been there, make sure that you include this place in your travel list. It is the YEXEL TOY'S MUSEUM

Ahemmm, school vacation is coming, perfect time to bond with your kids.

The place is very cute outside, so colorful and animated,  Spiderman and Superman were there to welcome us. This museum is owned by Yexel Sebastian - a former member of the dance group called "Streetboys".

Toys in the museum are all amazing. Grabe, nga-nga! (jaw-dropped) the kid in me felt so happy during our entire tour. I really enjoyed oggling at his millions worth of toy collection.

Though it's a 3 storey building museum, I had a hard time taking photos because the place is too small for his super huge  and plenty toys plus we were there for my son's educational tour, kaya lalong masikip. On the other hand, I can guarantee you that you will enjoy every moment of your entire visit.

Let me share our photos at Yexel's.

Museum opens at 10am until 8pm every SATURDAY & SUNDAY ONLY (rain or shine).

Entrance fee for kids and adults Php 300.00; INFANTS are FREE.

Servathon 2012 Experience

It took me so long to share my new mommy milestone. Pardon me, this is a super late blog entry. And this time it has something to do with environmental issues. Garbage, trash, trees, climate change and likes. Finally, I joined an environment friendly project after several numbers of sign ups but no show.

It is FIRST TIME to join a clean up drive with my colleagues and with other known companies through Be Hands-On Manila's Servathon 2012.

My personal reasons for not joining in the past?

I'm a mom, it happens most on weekends. I'm like, I'd rather stay at home and be with my kids. In addition to that, tree planting and clean up drive seems to be so boring to me and not my thing. I'm filling out my mind of "it requires me to wake up so super early in the morning and yet it is weekend" and I keep on thinking that I can't bear the scorching hot weather, I don't like the idea of sun bathing for hours! Yeah,  closed minded and a little over negative. That's how I was.

What triggered me to join?

I saw my colleagues photos taken from the past activities. They look happy and got FREEBIES! hahaha! I want those freebies too. So I told myself that I must be with them on the next project --- here comes Servathon 2012. The freebies!

In action

When we arrived in the location, I was captivated. I felt people around me are excited and looking forward so much in the activity. I admit, I got intrigued and started to think deeply over this. The energy and bunch of happy faces of the people around blown me away and took me to "positivity".

We were assigned to collect all kinds of rubber and all shoe garbage. I can tell, I had fun cleaning along with others. I'm looking forward to join activities like this in the future... Addicting. Happy me!

Let me share some of the snap shots taken during the activity.

Location: FREEDOM ISLAND, Coastal, Parañaque 10/16/2012

In action.

The site.

My group mates.

Tita Joy, pose for a break.

The program. Hosted by Marc Nelson.

Docking area at the site.
Life changing.

Yes. I learned a lot from this activity. I was able to found out that even if I'm a busy mom, I was able  to participate an  extra educational, fun and beneficial activity. I'm happy that at least I tried. I've realized that even if you're with anyone be it in a group whether you go solo, if your aim is to do good or beneficial to other people. Go for it and it will make you feel good not just for a day.

Go, go, go!!!!

That's all folks!

Guyabano-Dalandan mix for my sick kids

It's been three days since my kids JD and JM suffers from severe cough and colds. We are having sleepless and a lot of boohoo nights as well.

BIG Sigghhhh... I'm so worried for them because they're not getting a good sleep. And I can't tolerate it anymore.

To solve the issue, I grabbed 10 leaves of guyabano, boil it and wait until the temperature gets warmish. I added 2 squeezed of dark green oranges citrus.

Viola! They had a sweet tasty and natural citrus juice. Ooops! Consult your doctor before you try  this at home.

The effect: JD and JM were able to sleep soundly the night they drank guyabano-dalandan juice. Sever cough and colds almost gone now. Thanks be to God!

Why guyabano-dalandan?

Guyabano leaves are believed to have tranquilizing and sedative properties.
Boiling the leaves and drinking may help induce sleep. (click source here) And based from my own experience, truly boiled guyabano leaves made me feel sleepy that time when I drunk 1 to 2 glasses day. The effect lasted for 2 days. That's why I opt to offer this drink to my sleepless kids.

Dalandan is part of the citrus family. citrus fruits are high in vitamin C, and are good sources of folate and potassium. Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant and protects the body from damaging free radicals (click source here). Of course we need a lot of vitamin C in times of severe cough and colds.

That's all to share today...

Have a nice day!!!

Swing by HUMAN HEART NATURE Store

I heard and read a lot of good things about Human Heart Nature. Seriously, I got curious what's with HHN all about so, I visited their website. I was amazed and fell in-love with almost all of their NATURAL beauty and  products (loud and clear: NATURAL / NO HARMFUL CHEMICALS!!!)

My mind was drooling hard that time, because I really wanted to avail the membership right after I've learned about HHN. Luckily, I found someone to sponsor my membership fee at HHN (Ate Hazel, my loving sis.inlaw. BIG THANKS to you!).

"Ha!" At the back of my mind, "see you real soon babe (HNN)

YES!  I did it. I personally went at HHN head office (Commonwealth QC), all by myself. Oh well, I was totally compulsive and thrilled to swing by HHN 's head office. Definitely, I loved the experience and it would be such a pleasure to come back.

I must say, HHN head office's concept store is good-natured, gracious and urbane indeed.

Oh look here! Below are some of the photos I took during my visit. (Just so you know: HHN gives a green light for those who want to take pictures inside the store. So cool!)

The store's big enough to cater huge number of customers.

Cozy area. I love it!

At the FREE COFFEE corner.

Play area for kids.

Sorry, I had to post this. But the comfort room is to cozy. I can hang out here.

Yours truly!!! I love that PINK basket. Cute!

I was amazed and felt thankful that I finally found a beauty haven that is perfect for our budget. A practical yet natural way to pamper me and my family's skin.

My hand-picked products review later! Teeheee! I'm excited to share.
